The catapult launch
A real torsion catapult throws Kettle off his home island. Choose from four launch sites, each closer to the Lava Sea or to the Golden Castle.
One catapult. Seven islands. All the way to the Golden Castle.
The story
Kettle's world is a vertical stack of floating islands. The Lava Sea boils at the bottom, and high above the clouds stands the Golden Castle.
Kettle is a bold meerkat in a dented brass explorer's cap, with two copper kettles strapped to his back as a steam jetpack. A giant wooden catapult flings him from his home island and the chase is on.
You place the bet and the outcome is decided at once. The flight is that outcome played out: every rock he bounces off, every airship he clips and every island he crashes into is part of it.
Features
A real torsion catapult throws Kettle off his home island. Choose from four launch sites, each closer to the Lava Sea or to the Golden Castle.
The counter above Kettle starts the moment the catapult lets him go and rises with every metre he flies, slowly over the launch course, faster up in the sky. Coloured rocks he hits under steam push it higher, from copper to gold.
The jetpack burns steam. Coal sacks refill it, birds and kites knock some out. Out of steam, Kettle glides on momentum until something stops him. Out of steam over the launch course, he falls back to the ground and the round pays nothing.
Mail balloons, fishing balloons, an explorer's zeppelin, a flying market and the legendary Captain's ship all add to the counter when he bumps into them.
Thermals lift him for free, golden rings add to the counter, a soap bubble shields him, and a giant sky whale can swallow Kettle and let him out somewhere new on the map.
The sky map
When an island stops Kettle, the counter is multiplied by that island's value, shown here for a launch from Nest Island. From the other launch sites, the Crystal Cavern pays 75× and Ice Island 40×. The Lava Sea at the bottom pays nothing. The Golden Castle at the top pays the maximum win.
Launch site
Carries Kettle up without burning steam.
Adds to the counter, more from the dearer launch sites.
Shields him for a while: he bounces off what he hits and loses no steam. Islands and the Lava Sea still stop him.
Fills the jetpack back up.
The last meerkat who tried. Adds to the counter.
Swallows Kettle and lets him out somewhere new on the map, sometimes with a full tank or a boost to the counter.
How to play
Set your bet and choose where Kettle launches from.
The catapult throws him and the steam jetpack takes over.
From the moment he leaves the catapult, the counter climbs with every metre.
Your win is the counter times the final multiplier of whatever stops him.

FAQ
The theoretical return to player is 96.70% from every launch site.
50,000× the base bet, from every launch site. Reaching the Golden Castle always pays the maximum win.
The counter rises with the distance Kettle flies and with the rocks, airships and events he meets. When he is stopped, the counter is multiplied by the final multiplier of what stopped him. Only falling back to the ground or into the Lava Sea ends a round with no win.
Four starting islands: Nest Island at the base bet, then Hot Spring, Waterfall and Ice Island at 50×, 150× and 400× the base bet. Wins are paid in multiples of the base bet. The dearer the launch site, the more often a round wins at least what it costs. The RTP is 96.70% from every site.
